The Ministry of Defence (MoD) has undergone a period of considering its outsourced solutions, leading to Capita being recommended as a supplier for the army's ten year recruitment project.
On top of recruitment assistance, Capita is also expected to supply the "enabling technology" for a similar system which will be used by both the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force.
While the deal, for which the price has not been revealed, won't be officially awarded until March, Capita are said to be front-runners once procurement is fully complete.
According to the MoD, the deal will "meet both the quantity and quality of recruits required for the army's current and future needs".
It is also hoped that the deal will "modernise army recruiting and deliver significant savings to the taxpayer over ten years".
Capita is set to hire a number of different suppliers in order to help with the deal.
