Senior Java Designer/Developer - required to join a Global IT Services Provider in Bracknell on a 4 month initial contract.

Job Description:
Provide specialist design and development oversight to my clients end user project. This is a Java J2EE based development using Apache Camel, Jscape and connect: Direct to transfer files between customer end points and customer supplier endpoints. The files may be subject to additional transformations.
The role will be to provide design and development coding and support to the project as it moves into test support and initial live service.

Skills and Experience Required:
In-depth knowledge of Java Applications design and development using Java 6
Knowledge of Apache Camel Open Source
Experience of Enterprise Integration Patterns and design/implementation of integration, routing and mediation frameworks.
Knowledge of Apache Camel and Jscape
Build and release processes based on Maven
Understanding of secure protocols (FTPS/SFTP HTTPS etc) and certificates. Knowledge of JScape product support of these functions
Knowledge and understanding of Connect:Direct software implementation
Experience of leading a Java development team.
