Lorien Resourcing will be hosting its first peer group dinner of 2012 on the 19th January at the Gherkin on the topic “The future of HR”.
This session which will be hosted by Ella Bennett, HR Director, Fujitsu UK & Ireland, aims to bring together a group of senior HR Directors for the purpose of networking. The discussion topic is how and why the HR function of the future is likely to look different from how it looks today. The C-suite leaders of a modern organisation will be looking to HR for answers and leadership, on how to anticipate and address their key people challenges in a world that is changing fast. Taking time out to consider these issues, their implications and how organisations need to respond is crucial for HR leaders.
The Session will consist of a 20-30 minute presentation by Bertie Tonks to introduce thought leadership on the changing role of HR. This will be followed by a roundtable discussion to explore and build upon the hypothesis that HR needs to change, in what way and how.
