A vast number of companies, especially recruitment companies, claim they are ‘people businesses’. So why do so many wrap up their offering in jargon where employees are ‘assets’, candidates are ‘talent’ and a set of interviews is a ‘recruitment solution’?

No, we don’t know either. (Although we suspect it’s because if you strip away the jargon, a lot of firms don’t really have that much to offer beyond their database and a lacklustre trawl through online jobs boards.)

Lorien Resourcing had a turnover of £165 million in 2009 which provides us with the necessary financial stability to continue to invest in the long term commitments we have made to continue to enhance all aspects of our service.
