An exiting new permanent role as just come out from my client, a leading financial company based in Central Manchester. This role will encompass application development, selection and maintenance

Job Accountability's

Ensuring development and enhancements meet technical and business requirements
Reviewing Functional Specifications and System Test Plans
Designing large or complex systems or modifications
Creating and amending technical designs and program specifications
Developing and amending code as documented in design
Performing Unit Tests and Bug fixes
Planing, designing and undertaking integration testing

Essential Skills

Must have practical experience of SQL Server
Essential to have a proven track record in ASP.net web application development using VB/C#
Application development experience
Relevant experience in Test Driven Development, Unit Testing (Nunit and mocking frameworks) required
Must have exposure to Visual Studio 2008/2010
Source Control integration with TFS

Desirable

MVC
JavaScript
CSS
Crystal Reports
Object Oriented Design Skills and UML
Continuous Integration experience
